What to expect
Saturday, November 14, 1 to 3 p.m. in Room 202 of the JDF 55+ Activity Centre, at the Juan de Fuca Recreation Centre on Island Highway. Use the Ocean Boulevard entrance.
Tau Wellness Cooperative’s First Threads cast and Common Thread Troupe are opening the room to anyone curious about puppetry. No cost, no experience and no commitment to come back. Bring a friend or come on your own.
The afternoon is capped at eight guests and every person needs their own free RSVP. If you want more time with the puppets, a free troupe workshop runs in the same room from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m., with a separate RSVP.
