What to expect
Saturday, October 31, 6 to 8:30 p.m. at the Colwood Fire Hall, 3215 Metchosin Road. The Colwood Firefighters host a family Halloween evening around a bonfire outside the hall.
Stop by to warm up by the fire, have a hot dog and a hot chocolate, and pick up some candy. The City says everyone is welcome, whether you are out trick-or-treating or just want a festive half hour.
The page does not say whether the food is free, so bring a little cash just in case.
