What to expect
Saturday, October 31, 6 to 9 p.m. at the Public Safety Building, 333 Island Highway. The View Royal Firefighters Association hosts it for families and friends.
The firefighters hand out free hot dogs, hot chocolate, and Halloween treats, and there is a haunted house for anyone brave enough. It sits right on the trick-or-treating loop for most of View Royal.
Questions go to the View Royal Fire Department at 250-479-7322.
