Storytime at Swan Lake with GVPL
The Greater Victoria Public Library brings storytime out to the Swan Lake Nature House on September 18, noon to 1 p.m. Free, and the boardwalk is right there when the stories are done.
Friday, September 18, noon to 1 p.m. at the Nature House. GVPL runs the stories, Swan Lake provides the setting, and it costs nothing.
The sensible move is to stay afterwards. The floating boardwalk across the lake is a short, flat loop that small legs can manage, and mid-September is when the migrating birds start showing up on the water.
