What to expect
Wednesday, November 11. The parade steps off at 10:30 a.m. from the Mary Winspear Centre, goes along Beacon Avenue and Second Street, and finishes at the Cenotaph on Sidney Avenue, where the service is held and the two minutes of silence fall at 11:00. Veterans who want to march muster at the Mary Winspear Centre at 10 a.m., or can join the parade at the Cenotaph.
Plan for road closures: Beacon and Second close from 10:15 to 10:45 a.m., and Sidney, Third, Fourth and Mount Baker from 10 a.m. to noon. Walking in is the easy way.
