What to expect
Saturday, November 7 at the Mary Winspear Centre in Sidney. Doors at 7 p.m., show at 7:30.
Vimy Ridge is often called the battle that made Canada, and it cost more than 10,000 Canadian casualties. In RIDGE, Brendan McLeod and the JUNO-nominated folk group The Fugitives pull apart the stories we tell about it, with songs from the trenches set against the storytelling.
It lands the weekend before Remembrance Day, which is the point. Tickets are $45.
