What to expect
Wednesday, November 4 at 7:30 p.m., then Monday, November 9 and Thursday, November 12 at 7:40 p.m., at The Vic Theatre, 808 Douglas Street.
After a workshop on how to write and sell a Hallmark movie, filmmaker John Wilson tries the same formula on a documentary about the history of concrete. It becomes something funnier and odder, about cities, buildings and the ordinary textures of American life. It runs 102 minutes.
The Vic is a licensed theatre, so this is 19+ only. Tickets are $14.29 plus a service fee through the Victoria Film Festival.
