What to expect
Sunday, November 8. Kickoff is at 1 p.m. and the gates open at 11:30 a.m. at Starlight Stadium, 1089 Langford Parkway, which the Rebels call Rebel Field.
The Canadian Bowl is the oldest Canadian football championship, and this is the 118th. The BC champion Westshore Rebels host the Prairie champion Regina Thunder, the first time the two clubs have met. The Rebels have never won it: they lost at home in 2016 and 2023, and played in the 2003 final when they were still the Victoria Rebels. Regina won in 2013.
General seating is $35 for adults 19 and up and $25 for youth 13 to 18, and children 12 and under get in free with an adult. A limited number of $50 centre-field VIP seats come with a lanyard. Tickets are on the Rebels’ site. If you cannot make it, the CJFL says the game streams on BCFC TV.
