What to expect
Sunday, December 13, puck drop at 2 p.m. at the Q Centre on the Island Highway in Colwood. The Grizzlies host the Langley Rivermen in the Teddy Bear Toss, which the club calls one of the best games of the year, and there is a free family skate on the ice after the final whistle.
The name tells you what to bring. The club’s page does not spell out the rules of the toss, so check the Grizzlies’ social channels closer to the day, and bring skates if you are staying on for the family skate.
Single-game tickets are $20 for adults, $18 for seniors 65 and up and for military with ID, and $12 for youth 18 and under. Local kids 18 and under get in free with a paying adult, up to two per adult, a deal the club runs with Maxxam Insurance.
