Veterans Memorial Park Grand Reopening Celebration
Langford reopens Veterans Memorial Park on September 24 with live music in the new bandshell, hot dogs, games, and a cake cutting. A first look at the expanded park and its new pathways.
The park has been closed for an expansion and it comes back on Thursday, September 24, from 1 to 4 p.m. Linggo plays live jams in the new bandshell, there are hot dogs and refreshments, games and activities, and a cake cutting to mark the thing properly.
What is new: the bandshell for live performances, picnic areas with tables, better washrooms, more parking, and looped pathways through the expanded grounds. Worth a walk around even if you only come for the cake.
