Beacon Avenue closes to traffic on Halloween afternoon so hundreds of costumed kids can trick-or-treat their way through downtown Sidney. October 31, 4:30 to 6 p.m., rain or shine.
Saturday, October 31, from 4:30 to 6 p.m. Beacon Avenue is closed to vehicles and the businesses and community organizations along it hand out candy, so families can walk the downtown core together instead of driving between streets.
Trick-or-treating does not start before 4:30, which gives the shops time to set up, and the whole thing happens rain or shine, so dress for the weather. Presented by the Sidney BIA with the Peninsula Celebrations Society.
