SSIP Ribbon Cutting Celebration

Shelbourne Street has been under construction long enough that finishing it counts as a neighbourhood occasion. Saanich is marking it at Browning Park on Monday, September 14, from 2 to 3:30 p.m., with welcome remarks, the ribbon cutting, and information about what actually changed for people walking, cycling, taking the bus, and driving the corridor.
Capital Bike leads a community ride along the new stretch afterwards, with registration through their site and a few complimentary e-bikes and e-scooters for anyone who does not have a bike of their own. Free and open to everyone.
