Putting Your Garden to Bed
A free Saturday-morning workshop in Langford on what to do with the garden before winter. Two hours at Gordon United Church, run by ReImagine West Shore. Space is limited and you need to register first.
Saturday, October 3, 10 a.m. to noon at Gordon United Church on Goldstream Avenue. October is when a West Shore garden either gets put away properly or gets left to sort itself out, and this is the two hours that covers the difference.
It is free, but space is limited and pre-registration is required, so sign up on the ReImagine West Shore site rather than turning up. They run a string of these through the fall, including Grow Your Own Groceries on October 15 and a year-round veggie garden session on November 7.
