Remembrance Day Ceremony
Oak Bay's ceremony is at the Cenotaph on the 2900 block of Beach Drive, beginning at 10:55 a.m. on November 11. Open to the public, and streamed for anyone who cannot be there.
Wednesday, November 11. The District’s ceremony begins at 10:55 a.m. at the Cenotaph on the 2900 block of Beach Drive, so the two minutes of silence fall at eleven. It is open to the public.
Oak Bay also streams the ceremony for anyone who cannot stand at the Cenotaph, which is worth knowing if you are housebound or away. The seafront end of Beach Drive gets busy, so walk in if you can.
