Free Family Skate
Oak Bay opens the arena for a free family skate on Sunday, October 18, 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. No admission and nothing to book, just turn up with skates.
Sunday, October 18, 1:30 to 2:45 p.m. on the arena ice at the Oak Bay Recreation Centre on Bee Street. It is free, which makes it one of the better cheap Sunday afternoons in the region for a family with a couple of kids who are still learning to stay upright.
Bring your own skates and helmets if you have them. The session is only seventy-five minutes, which is about the right length for small legs, and there is no charge and nothing to book ahead.
