Moss Street Market
Fairfield's Saturday market is at peak harvest. Local farmers, bakers, makers, and buskers spread across the Sir James Douglas grounds at Moss and Fairfield. Bring a tote and an empty stomach.
Every Saturday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. through October, the school grounds at Moss and Fairfield fill with Island farmers, bakers, makers, and buskers, spilling over toward Porter Park. Mid September is the overlap stretch: tomatoes and corn still going, first apples arriving, squash starting to pile up. The market carries on indoors through the winter with a 1 p.m. close from November.
