What to expect
Saturday, December 5, 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., at the Sooke Region Museum, 2070 Phillips Road. It is an outdoor market and it goes ahead rain or shine.
More than 25 local vendors, and the museum’s rule is that everything is made, baked, raised, caught, wild harvested or grown by the person selling it. Local musicians play the outdoor stage, there are carollers, and kids can decorate cookies and make lanterns.
The museum is by donation. The market page does not give a separate admission price, so check it before you go.
