What to expect
Halloween night at Centennial Park in Central Saanich, 7:30 to 9 p.m. The bonfire starts at 7:30 and the fireworks display follows at 8, held in honour of AC Forrest Owens.
The Central Saanich Lions Club looks after the food: hot chocolate, hot dogs, and popcorn. It is the District’s own annual event, timed so you can finish trick-or-treating in Saanichton and walk over for the fireworks.
