What to expect
Friday, October 30, 7 p.m. to midnight, in the Visual Arts Building on UVic’s Ring Road. Halloni is the yearly Halloween party the graduating Bachelor of Fine Arts class puts on, and every dollar goes towards their end-of-year exhibition.
There are three bands on the bill (Bad Luck Pearl, Rashdale and Sweet Delirium) and three drag performers (Sappho Heart, Levitikus and NuMetal Cowboy), and DJs Blacasphalt and DJ Robby take it to the end of the night. Between sets you can get your tarot read, sit for a caricature or hit the photo booth.
Tickets are $15 on LampPost. It is a good way to see what the art school is up to while paying for the show you will want to see in the spring.
