What to expect
Wednesdays, November 4, November 18 and December 2, 7:30 to 8:30 p.m., at Fernwood Neighbourhood House, 1240 Gladstone Avenue. It runs in The Nest, the detached building around the back of the community centre.
Bring a friend and whatever has been sitting in the mending pile. Tools and materials are on hand, though it is worth bringing your own thread if you want a match for the garment, and there is basic sewing instruction for anyone starting out. It is free and drop-in.
