Cadboro-Gyro Park fills for a free Sunday of live music, food trucks, and kids' crafts, with an ocean recreation and conservation theme. Three bands, community drumming, and the beach a step away.
The District of Saanich runs the Cadboro Bay Festival at Cadboro-Gyro Park on Sunday, August 9, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m., built around ocean recreation and sustainability. Three acts play through the afternoon, The Projectors, Boneyard Babes, and Slim Sandy’s Atomic Cocktails, alongside community drumming, food trucks, kids’ crafts, and interactive booths on marine wildlife. A free bike valet and a UVic shuttle help with parking.
