Brentwood Bay’s free Wednesday concert series runs seven weeks through July and August, 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. The 2026 season closes on August 19 with The James Vickers Band, a blues-rocking group from Nanaimo led by 16-year-old Gitxaala, Heiltsuk, and Haida Nations vocalist and guitarist James Vickers. Earlier acts this summer included The Bill Johnson Blues Band, Auntie Kate & The Uncles of Funk, and Shaky Ground. Bring a lawn chair.
