The Corner Gas creator brings his stand-up to the Charlie White Theatre in Sidney on September 25, 7:30 p.m. Dry, unhurried, Saskatchewan-shaped comedy from one of the people who built Canadian sitcom television.
Friday, September 25 at the Charlie White Theatre, doors at 7, show at 7:30. Brent Butt was doing stand-up for years before Corner Gas, and stand-up is what he went back to, so this is the room-working version rather than the sitcom one.
Tickets are $60 through the Mary Winspear box office at 2243 Beacon Avenue. Worth the drive up the Peninsula if you have been meaning to make an evening of Sidney anyway.
